Bayern Munich have reportedly stepped up their bid in landing Manchester City winger Leroy Sane after both parties were said to have met earlier this month.
The Bavarians tried signing the German star this summer in a deal around £138 million but the Premier League champions rejected the bid from the Bundesliga side.
According to SunSport quoting Bild, the player's representative David Gardner and the club's agent Giovanni Branchini held a meeting to finalise plans for the transfer move.📰| Bayern Munich have made a new move to sign Leroy Sane from Manchester City.— City Chief (@City_Chief) October 9, 2019

However, the German has stepped up his recovery process as he eyes a return before the end of this year. The publication reveals that the forward has returned to the gym, and he is awaiting the doctors report to start jogging after the international break. Sane has scored 39 goals and 45 assists in 139 appearances in all competitions since he joined Man City from Schalke 04 in 2016.

earlier Manchester City reported that they want a staggering £145 million for star winger Leroy Sane wanted by Bayern Munich.
The German League champions are hopeful of landing the 23-year-old before the end of this transfer window after the departure of both Arjen Robben and Franck Ribery last season.
Although, it is clear that the Premier League champions are not ready to allow their man leave anytime soon, the Bavarians are however not giving up on the player's chase.
