CBN CASH WITHDRAWAL POLICY TO ALL NIGERIANS

December 08, 2022 0

The central bank had placed a cap on cash withdrawals under the new dispensation, restricting the maximum cash withdrawal over the counter (OTC) by individuals and corporate organisations per week to N100,000 and N500,000 respectively.

The bank, in a letter dated December 6, 2022, which was addressed to all Deposit Money Banks, and Other Financial Institutions, Payment Service Bank (PSBs), Primary Mortgage Banks (PMBs), and Microfinance Banks (MFBs), also stated that third party cheques above N50,000 shall not be eligible for OTC payment while extant limits of N10 million on clearing cheques still remains.

The new withdrawal regime which may be targeted at curbing vote-buying as the 2023 elections draw closer, among others, further pegged the maximum cash withdrawal per week via Automated teller Machine (ATM) at N100,000 subject to a maximum of N20,000 cash withdrawal per day, adding that only denominations of N200 and below shall be loaded into ATMs while the maximum amount that can be withdrawn via Point of Sale (POS) terminal was limited to N20,000 daily.

Businessman vows not to allow his child marry anyone from ‘trenches’

November 16, 2022 0

A Nigerian man identified as Ronald Nzimora has said he will ensure his child never marries anyone from a struggling family or who lives in a low income neighbourhood.

He stated that he is rich and intends to make it mandatory for his child to marry from the upper-class and not the ‘trenches – which is a street term for lower class.

Ronald added that the opinion of anyone who disagrees with him is not welcome.

Businessman vows not to allow his child marry anyone from ‘trenches

He stated that he is rich and intends to make it mandatory for his child to marry from the upper-class and not the ‘trenches – which is a street term for lower class.

Ronald added that the opinion of anyone who disagrees with him is not welcome.

The businessman said he raise his children as he pleases and others who feel what he said is wrong can raise their own kids however they like.

When asked what he will do if his offspring becomes rebellious and decides to go for someone from the trenches, he said the indoctrination will start from a very early age so there won’t be room for the child to become defiant.

He wrote; ”As I get money, my pikin NO GO EVER MARRY trenches person.

Na my pikin. Do with your own children how you want. I will do with mine how I want. This is not a topic to be sanctimonous or emotional about. Proper trenches people are mostly dangerous people.”

Reactions:

Reacting, @tysalihu asked; What if the child come get coconut head? I ask because it happened to people in my two generations of my family… It ended badly.. But it happened

@ronaldnzimora replied; my work to make sure say e no get coconut head, because na from small the indoctrination against marrying trenches people go start. LOL!

Another tweep @Golibe6 wrote; The individual she is marrying might even be good but you see the family?

Trenches is trenches. And marriage involves families not only individuals whether we like it or not.

Airtel Data #200 for 1gb, 500 for 2Gb.....

November 01, 2019 0

Airtel has been doing fine in Nigeria that why I also port my line especially when I got this Airtel 1gb for n200 it was really amazing, you guys keep wondering why am always online 24/7 it is the work of good network like airtel.

Airtel has decided to surprise subscribers again with another cheaper data plans despite the fact that so many people are not eligible for MTN and 9mobile 1GB for N200.

Nevertheless, you don’t have to port from your network to another network just like the way I did I ported from MTN to 9mobile and have ported to Airtel, because of their 4G.

The plan is very much similar to that of MTN, so if you are not eligible or no longer eligible for 1GB for N200 on MTN, then it is time to dust your Airtel SIM.

Now that Airtel has regained the position as the second-largest telecom provider in Nigeria, they’ll try all they can to maintain that position.

The plan was secretly introduced, no much detail about eligibility or not, if you’ve got Airtel SIM, you can always try it out.
You can get:

200MB for N100 (validity 3days)

1GB for N200 (validity 1 week)

2GB for N500 (validity is 2 weeks)

4GB for N1000 (validity is 1 month)

How do I subscribe for Airtel 1GB for N200 Special Data Plan

Dial *141*241# and choose the package that suit.

Note: If your sim is not eligible, you can try out Airtel New SIM.

Those of you that are no longer eligible for MTN 1GB for N200, you can go with this or simply don’t subscribe to any data plan on that sim for 2 – 3 weeks and it will be eligible again. You can be making calls with it but don’t subscribe data on it.

Let us know if you are eligible for a new Airtel Special offer.

The subscription code stated above works on all MTN Sim cards but that is not the code to check eligibility of the new MTN 4GB data offer.

After dialing the code stated above, you are directed to the offer page that list the available offers but when you choose an option you’re directed to the next page which only tells you “Dear Customer, Enjoy data offers on MTN Deal zone, Dial *131*1#” and when you do so, you are directed to the main MTN data bundle offers that give you 1GB for N1000, 1.5GB for N1,200 and so on.

Can I Accumulate Data on the New Mtn 4GB data offer?
For those that are eligible for the MTN 4GB data offer, it is not yet certain if the data can be accumulated or rolled over. The MTN operator said it is not yet certain if MTN Nigeria will be gracious enough to allow accumulation of data in the new offer.

Remember, NCC recently mandated all network providers to make sure users are able to roll over data they are not able to exhaust to the next month.
If you have an old MTN Sim, you can dust it up and take advantage of this new data offer and let us know your experience.
