, today, unveiled a 70-bed COVID-19 Isolation and Treatment Centre located within the premises of Landmark Exhibition Centre in Eti-Osa Local Government Area of the State

Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu has approved a 400 percent increment in the hazard allowance for all Health Officers in Lagos State from N5,000 (Five Thousand Naira) to N25,000 (Twenty Five Thousand Naira) for the month of April 2020

He envisaged that the health workers will reciprocate the gesture with more doggedness and enthusiasm towards their duties

Muri-Okunola, however, reiterated that the collective effort of the entire workforce is required to win the battle against the deadly virus, noting that "this pandemic shall also pass"

The Lagos Waste Management Authority has appealed to residents in the State to maintain a cleaner and livable environment, as the government puts measures in place to curtail environmental degradation and the spread of the Coronavirus pandemic

He appealed to residents to support efforts of the Authority in ensuring that every part of the metropolis is kept clean during and after the lockdown period, disclosing that PSP operators have been mandated to provide effective services to all tenements in the State
